Interventional Procedures

Interventional procedures are minimally-invasive procedures (some are diagnostic procedures, some are therapeutic procedures, and some are both).  Diagnostic procedures may be helpful in precisely identifying the source of pain.  Therapeutic procedures may provide pain relief.  If interventional pain treatment leads to significant reduction in pain, in some cases it may be possible to eliminate or decrease pharmacological strategies being utilized to manage the pain.
